frogger974
I have been using 2x1GB chips of VS1GB400C3 in my system for approximately 6 months without problem. I recently started experiencing crashes, and it seems I have tracked the problem down to a particular memory module. I have used Memtest86+ to test the chips individually. One chip runs the test fine, the other chip tends to fail the test within a few hours. I have tested at up to 2.7V with default timings used in the BIOS. So it seems one of my sticks has gone bad. I'd like to request an RMA on this. Also, these chips were purchased as a matched kit to run in dual channel. Do I need to have both chips replaced (even though one of them seems fine) to ensure that I still have a matched pair?
