A8N32-SLI Deluxe / TWINX1024-4400C25 upgrade dilemma.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have 1GB TWINX1024-4400C25 & I'm looking forward to upgrade to 2GB by adding another 2 sticks of the same memory. I know that by doing so I'll have to use 2T & relax my timings but this is no big deal for me as I'm not really interested in overclocking.

Currently my settings are 400MHz-2,75V-1T with tight timings & I'm really satisfied with the results.

The thing is that this memory is qualified by ASUS for use with this board but 2 sticks only. Is it possible to use 4 of them ?

Yes, but you may have to relax the timings, and these modules are no longe rin production so they may be hard to find. You might consider replacing them with 1 Twinx2048-3500LLPro set of modules for best performance.
