Quintus
I've read through all the warranty stuff (and managed to stay awake!) but I'm still not too sure about one thing. For the TWINX2048-3200C2 kit I assume that the SDP is set at JEDEC standard latencies, however, according to the spec sheet the modules have been tested at 2-3-3-6 latencies. So, my question is: if you adjust the RAM to these timings, does it void the warranty, or would the RAM still be covered? Thanks, Quintus
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 11, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 11, 2006 If you have a XMS module that ends with a "C2" designation the SPD will be set to JEDEC defined values for the IC used to make that specific part and the tested settings would need to be manually set! With the modules you have the SPD should be set to Cass 3-3-3-8, so the tested settings would need to be manually set, and as long as you don’t go over 2.9 Volts on the memory if they ever fail we will be happy to replace them.
