nightkit
Hi Ram guy I have a stick of ValueSelect VS512MB533D2 PC2-4200, It fails to boot in any system. I tried another stick of ValueSelect and it worked fine. So how can I go about to RMA the bad stick of ram. Regards Kit
CMC_SAVAGE
It won't work in any system if it does not support DDR2 RAM, which this is. It won't work in your system.
nightkit
Sorry by any system I mean DDR2 supported system that I tried. But the Board I'm currently using is a MSI GA-8I945GMF DDR2, I have another 5 sticks of the same ram. And this is the only one that will not post to BIOS. CMC_SAVAGE
Then I would check that stick with Memtest. Could be bad.
