A_Pickle
I've been living with occasional application crashes and whatnot... and when I inspected the inside of my computer for routine maintenance (dust-bunny hunting), I noticed something about my RAM. I bought 2 GB (2 x 1 GB) of Corsair ValueSelect in April of 2005. A few months later, a stick went dead and I had to RMA it for a new one. I got the new one, and promptly put it in my case. As I said before, it wasn't until this week, upon dusting the inside of my case... I noticed the actual memory modules on my two DIMMs weren't identical. I took a picture and uploaded it for all to see (thumbnail expands to larger image). http://img506.imageshack.us/img506/2815/mismatchedram3jq.th.jpg I was wondering if I can RMA both of my memory sticks to get two matched sticks?
