nickhaw
alright, i just bought a second Stick of CMX1024-3200 ram for the computer i build a couple of months ago. i already have one stick of the same exact ram in my computer. the thing is i go to throw the the second stick of ram into my computer and when i turn the computer agian the computer started but nothing booted up on the screen, so i took out the new stick to see if my computer still worked. and guess what, it did work so i took out the older stick and replaced it with the new one and turned on the the computer and it didnt work like before. this leeds me to believe the stick of ram it no good. just seeing if there could be another problem before i send it back thanks
Yellowbeard
First make sure you have the latest bios. Then, try clearing CMOS and then see if it will post with the new stick. If it is totally DOA find RAM GUYs signature here. He has a link for what to do when you have a bad part. Mike .
