Garvin Posted April 16, 2006 Share Posted April 16, 2006 Unfortunately, modern high speed memory controllers can have a real problem running mismatched sets of ram. They all want to see matching IC's on each pair and between pairs, so finding another pair to match the pair you already have (right down to the version number) will be nearly impossible. Your best bet is to get a 2gig dual channel matched pair kit (2-1gig sticks). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
