TraderB
I have 2x512MB Corsair Value Select RAM in my system, well did until recently. For some reason now only 1 stick works and if I put the other one in (either independent or both in dual channel) the computer will not boot up. If you could offer advice or tell me if I need to send in for replacement, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

TraderB
Sounds good. Should I send in both or just the one not working? How long would it take to get them replaced because if I send in both then I do not have any memory for my computer. Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 4, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 4, 2006 I would suggest you get them both replaced so they match!
TraderB
Okay, well how long does it take to get a replacement because like I stated before, I have no other RAM so my computer will be inoperable during that time period?

TraderB
Is Corsair going to give me exact replacements of the memory I have now? I am asking this because I am contemplating buying an additional pair of 2x512mb RAM sticks and I don't know what compatability issues will come up if I decide I have 2 different kinds of Corsair memory....I guess I can always buy 2x1GB and use the replaced memory as backup or in another system. Thanks. Sorry for so many posts, appreciate all the help so far.
