Older
Hi, I am getting an error of one of my Corsair Value Select 1GB DDR 400 CAs 3 ram modules (I have two). One tests fine the other gives an error at the 381MB segment. I have tested them individually in my motherboard an Asus A8N32_SLI Deluxe with Memtest86+. My complete specs are: AMD x2 3800 Asus A8N32_SLI Deluxe 2 x 1GB Corsair Value Select VS1GB400C3 ram Nvidia 7600GT video card all specs at base (bumped the RAM to 2.8 volts but it made no difference) Enermax Liberty 620 Watt PSU Happy with the one good piece of ram just not happy I have to send the other back to the US by the looks from Australia. regards Older EDIT: The error showed up twice on pass 4. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 3, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 3, 2006 Did you disable legacy USB? in the bios setup and with this MB we had to set the CPU Freq manually or it would generate errors in memtest that were not real. Hi, Disabled Legacy USB already. How do I set the CPU frequency manually? This is for the Asus A8N32-SLI. I am surprised that one module can give a bad reading and not the other with the same settings. Not once but twice. regards
