Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700C2 Cass 2-3-3-6 for example or if you have Value Select "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.

That's what I already did.

One of these identical modules works without any problem, the other one creates errors.

If I send back the faulty module will I receive another one back that will work with the remaining good one in dual channel mode? Or should I send back both modules?

I am located in Germany. Should I send the module to the US address? Who's going to pay the freight charges?

The reseller wanted to replace just the faulty module.

I was afraid that replacing only one module would give me two non-compatible modules at the end, so he asked me to contact Corsair directly. Furthermore he told me it would take 4-8 weeks to get a replacement.

(This dealer will never see me again!)

In the meantime I bought a TWINX1024-3200C2 to replace the faulty pair, since I need the PC and cannot wait until I get the modules back.

I hope I'll be able to use the replacement modules together with the TWINMX set.

I'll complete the Excel form tonight to request an RMA.

Thanks for your help RAM guy!
