Problem with CMX512-3200C2P2 (again), need RMA

Hello,

I have a matched pair of CMX512-3200C2P2 which I attempted to install into a brand new eMachines T3304 and the system was VERY unstable - constant hard lookups and reboots. However, when I replace the corsair memory with the original memory, I have no problems. There are no options within the bios to slow down the memory and it is not stable enough to run memtest. Please let me know what I need to do in order to get an RMA for these sticks. I had previously RMA'd this pair and again I am having problems. Perhaps the last pair were not actually replaced, seeing as they seem to have the same serial number....

Model Number: CMX512-3200C2PT XMS3202v1.5

Serial Number: 0516010-0

I believe the CPU is a Sempron 3100+ or 3200+ so I don't know the frequency off the top of my head. Also, since this is an AMD processor, there is no FSB speed per se. Like I said before, there are no setting to change the speed of the CPU / Memory whatsoever in the bios, I am completely reliant on autodetection.

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700C2 Cass 2-3-3-6 for example or if you have Value Select "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.

I am sorry, but I don't believe you are not understanding me. I CANNOT set any memory parameters what so ever in the bios as this is prebuilt machine. I cannot set the voltage, I cannot set timings, etc. I also have tried to run mem test, but it locks up regardless of which stick is in. I will follow the directions within your link to RMA it. Thank you.
