stevo.k
Hey, I've got a stupid question re: system memory- I currently have Corsair TwinX 1024MB PC3200XLPT (2x512) on my board. I want to add memory to the two available slots. Should I simply order more of the same? Or can I get 2X1024 for a total of 3Gb or is this odd? ~Stevo
CMC_SAVAGE
You would need to stick with the XL's. Another TWINX1024-3200XL's would work.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 1, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 1, 2006 If you use more than 2 double sided modules the system will default to DDR333 and you may have to relax the timings to Cas 2.5-3-3-7 at 2T command rate. It would be best to replace what you have now with Twinx2048-3200C2 instead.
