thehub
Hi, I purchased corsair's xms xtreme memory, and have tested it professionally on many machines. All the machines tested on met the specifications.
Wired
How exactly did you test them? What CPU / FSB / Motherboard do you have? What is the exact part # and revision # of each stick? Is it a TwinX pack? How To Read the Memory Label If you have more than one stick, have you tested one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+? thehub
The memory causes the computer to not POST. Take it out, computer works. Pretty simple to figure out, i need this memory repaired/replaced. I don't know if its from a twinx pack or not. This info is on it....... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 31, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 31, 2006 Are the modules you have in the system now that work are they the same part# and revision as this module? If not that might be the problem.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 1, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 1, 2006 Please go back and read what I posted! I understand that! What I am trying to get you to see is that if the modules in your system are not all exactly matched that may be the cause of this. If they are all the same then I would suggest you get all of the modules replaced. So they all match other wise doing an RMA will not solve this problem. thehub
yes they are the same exact model, i do not wish to send both back though because that would leave me with no computer at home until it is sent back to me. I also ran a memory test on the other module, it is fine.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 2, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2006 There would be no way to match them if they are both sent in. You can call our customer service at 888-222-4346 and see if they can do anything to help you.
Wired
Also, if all you did was remove the stick and nothing else, it could be the memory slot! Take out the "good" stick and try the "bad" stick in its place, see what happens.
