WinXP
1GB Corsair TWINX matched set cmx512-3200c2pt xms 3202v4.1 I am having problem with this set now for some reason. Mem timing (200) 2.5-3-3-8 at 2.7v in a DFI NF3 UT250GB mobo. You can be in windows an all of the sudden the computer will give bsod from mem errors an reboot. Raising mem voltage to 2.8 makes no difference. Have tried these in my DFI NF4 Ultra-D with same results. Moving mem from NF4 to NF3 an no problems with reboots or mem errors. Power supply is a Enermax 431 watt with good voltage rails, cpu A64 Newcastle 3400+ at 1.46v. Mem in slots 1 & 3, moving to 1 & 2 make no difference. Computer has been working fine. What maybe the problem ?
WinXP
Have read alot of the stickies an used mem test on memory. 1 stick runs fine with running complete full test. The other will have errors after 2nd completed full test. Guess this maybe the problem for reboots an windows mem errors out of the blue.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 30, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 30, 2006 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. .
