kopykat
Hi, my ram is currently running at 3-3-3-8 speeds. According to the specs it should be able to run at 2-3-3-6 @ 2.75v stable. right now the ram is set to auto on my bios. when I try to manually touch any of its speeds in the bios the system reboots before I can even load memtest. can anyone please tell me what I might be doing wrong? thank you. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 31, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 31, 2006 What bios version do you have installed? Should be the latest -1 Bios and please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. .
