DonM
I have searched this forum and seen in several threads that the ASUS P4P800-VM and TWINX1024-3200C2 are compatible. However, I also see the RAM GUY recommending seting the DIM voltage to 2.7 or 2.75 volts. My motherboard only has two settings 2.55V and 2.65V (or Auto). Will I get full performance from my memory at these lower voltage settings? Thanks, Don
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 27, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 27, 2006 You will just have to try it, but I would suspect at 2.65 volts Cas 2.5-3-3-7 will be best.
DonM
Then I may as well just buy the VS1GBKIT400 and save $20+ ...the timings for that modlel are 2.5-3-3-8 at that voltage, correct?
mr3d
Yes it is that is what mine is set to now
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 7, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 7, 2006 No maby not. You cannot mix memory. Match what you have now if you want to add memory both in part# and revision.
