Glenn9643 Posted January 25, 2006 Share Posted January 25, 2006 I'm running two of the VS512MB400 1gb kits and one has gone bad. Trying to RMA through NewEgg, and they track using a serial number that I've been able to locate on the packaging label to identify what was sold. I have both original packages and the labels on the packaging corresponds to my invoices from them. However, the serial number found on the memory modules doesn't seem to be related to the package serial number. How can I identify which package serial number this bad set matches, or does it matter?
