Jeff061
Like the title says, I have two 1GB sticks of Corsair 3200pro, part# CMX1024-3200PRO, one of the sticks prevents the system from posting. Computer turns on, fans spin, but nothing comes up on the monitor. When I pop out the problematic memory everything works fine. PC specs are in my profile. Part was purchased from NewEgg August of 2004.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 25, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 25, 2006 Let's get them both replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or *New* Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
Jeff061
Thanks for the reply. I've already filled out an RMA form. If possible I'd prefer to get just the one replaced so that I have a working PC(assuming you guys won't ship first). I don't have any other memory I can swap in temporarily. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 25, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 25, 2006 With the MB you have the modules would need to be exactly matched or you may run into problems. I would strongly suggest you get them both replaced so they match.
Jeff061
Ok, will do, I'm assuming I'm done until I hear back from Tech Support on the RMA form via email?
