Corsair 133x 1GB HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

Hello,

I have a major issue with my 133x Corsair 1GB SD card. It displays the error when I use it in my Canon A620. I have had it replaced twice already and all do the same thing.

I have found something that makes it work for a little while.

Ok so you get the card and you put it in your camera (I have a canon a620) and it doesn't seem to work - afew pics work then it displays the ERROR message.

If you place the card in a SD / MMC memory card reader on your computer - and then look at the contents of the card - delete the contents, then drag some other pics from your computer onto the card. Put the card back into the camera - view the pictures on the LCD. If they show okay the card should be acting fine. After taking about 50 photos - it acts funny again. It is acting so random. I can find it - then it's gone - no error - then an error again........

Geez - I do not want to go through more replacements - Corsair is very highly regarded on my list of reliable brands. I am a computer technician and Corsair have been so reliable for so long - however this is totally outrageous - FIX YOUR DUD CARDS!!!! What do I do here - so frustated...

Edit:

After completing the above process and formatting the card when you go to view the pictures on the camera (after dragging them from your pc) it seems to work - hasn't screwed up yet....

Still - why should one have to go through this is in the first place is beyond me.

I would check for new firmware for your camera. But if you continue to have problems we can try replacing the drive for you. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
