smart_ask
I have ran memtest 86 and it comes up with 244 errors on a set of cmx512-3200c2pt sticks i have been trying to run. I replaced these with a older set of cmx256a-3200ll sticks and memtest comes up with 0 errors. I assume the cmx512-3200c2pt sticks are not functioning properly and would like to return them under warranty. Please advise if any further testing or information is required on my end. I would also be interested in upgrading this memory during the warrantied replacement if this is an available option. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 23, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 23, 2006 You will need to manually configure you bios so the memory frequency is at DDR333 and I would set the dim over voltage control to +.2 Volts and then test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure. smart_ask
Ok per your specifications memory configured to 167MHz (DDR 334) and DIMM overvoltage set to +.2 Results using memtest 86 1st stick 291 errors 2nd stick 0 errors Still appears to be defective Memory. Any further tests or information required from my end please advise.
