jpk1080
hello. i have an abit icg-7 motherboard with a gig of the corsair memory listed about. i had problems prior and just received two new sticks today. i installed them, and ran them for a few hours as planned before i reformatted. everything worked fine but upon shutting down, etc, i was no longer able to start up. the monitor woudln't receive a signal and haven't been able to access the bios or anything. i have another single stick of 128 mb ddr266 memory and i'm able to run things fine, at least as far as installing windows and being able to boot. i'm baffled by what the issue could be. i've tried every combination of ram i can think of. any help would be appreicated thanks. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 3, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 3, 2006 Please reset the bios and do not mix the modules with other types. Adjust the DDR voltage to the minimum requirements of 2.7v in the bios. Test the modules with memtest on the modules one at a time. Please provide the CPU model you have installed in the system.
