tames
Hi, I'm thinking about upgrading my memory to 4GB. I already have 1x TWINX2048-3500LLPRO (total memory = 2GB). Will adding another pair of TWINX2048-3500LLPRO actually work on my Asus A8N-E motherboard? Tames.
Wired
Why 4 GB though? What OS are you using?
tames
Hi, I'm running XP + FreeBSD and running many vmware sessions at the same time. The more memory I can get, the better. 3GB would be nice, but I'm wondering if 4GB would ever work on my A8N-E by adding an extra pair of TWINX2048-3500LLPRO DIMM's. Before I buy it, I would like to be sure that it actually works. Tames.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 18, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 18, 2006 Yes but I doubt you would be able to tun them all with the tested settings. Probably something like Cas 2.5-3-3-7 would be best at 2.8 Volts at 2T Command Rate.
