The XMS3205v1.2 modules will likely use Winbond CH-5 IC's, while the XMS3202v1.1 modules may use Winbond BH-something IC's or IC's from a different manufacturer. Ask about your particular modules in the "IC Inquiry Thread". Second, even if all of your modules use the same IC chips, you will have to manually set the memory speed and timings due to the fact that the 3200LL and 3200C2 modules use different SPD programming (your v1.2 3200LL modules will use 2-3-2-6 timings by SPD, while your v1.1 3200C2 modules will use 2.5-3-3-8 timings by SPD) since the mixed SPD's will confuse the computer's BIOS, making the system set the timings to the fail-safe timings (usually 3-4-4-8 or 2.5-4-4-8) or refuse to POST at all. Third, even if your system boots up with the correct timings, your memory's clockspeed will drop to 166MHz (DDR333/PC2700) by default with all four memory slots filled with double-sided DIMM's. This is a limitation with all DDR400 memory controllers. (By the way, Corsair does not make single-sided 512MB 184-pin DDR400/PC3200 memory modules; all of them are double-sided.) With your particular CPU, you may be able to manually set the memory clockspeed back to 200MHz (DDR400/PC3200), but you will have to use a command rate setting of 2T instead of 1T in order to get things stable.
