jdubz Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 help! because my alienware laptop is almost 2 years old, alienware doesn't or won't sell ram for my laptop. basically i want to upgrade to two 1 gig sticks. what i currently have in there are 2 512 PC3200 DDR 400a CL3 sticks. where can i order the 1 gigs? and is it as simple as saying i want two 1 gig PC3200 sticks? thanks in advance... oh, for what it's worth this is also the system info: Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 3.4 GHz 800MHz FSB w/Hyper-Threading X 2 (yes, two processors) 1024Mb (two 512 sticks) DDR PC3200 @ 400MHz RAM (Max 2Gb) 60Gb @ 7,200rpm with 8Mb buffer ATi Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro 128Mb module (User Upgradeable) 15.4” Widescreen WSXGA+ @ 1680x1050 native resolution in silver Soundblaster Pro Compatible 3D Audio 5.1 Compatible Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
