Sep Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Guys, I upgraded my board, Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, from 1Gb of CMX512-320XL to 2GB of TWINX2048-3200C2. The board didn't boot either. Bios was 1004 or 1006. My first problem was one of my video card power cables came loose :eek: . Still no boot so I put back the old ram, went to Asus website and downloaded the lastest bios 1016 (I think), reset bios, updated it and the new sticks work. However the SPD didn't setup correctly. I had to manually set the timings. I got 2-3-3-6 but the other remaning settings are no where to be found. What should I set the other timings to? Also do you know what program will show if the mem is running 1T vs 2T and if it's running Dual vs Single? CPU ID shows the timing, but not the above unless I'm missing something. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 14, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 14, 2006 All of our modules that end with a "C2" designation will have their SPD set to JEDEC defined values for the specific IC we use.
