mitcharf
Hi everyone, I just ordered the TWINX2048-3200C2 to put in my Asus A7N8X based system. I am doing some advance research before the RAM arrives, to hopefully smooth the transition. One thing I've noticed is that people have had trouble when their voltage was not set correctly for the memory. Reading the technical specs for the memory, I see that Corsairs indicates it should be run at 2.75V. However, the BIOS for my motherboard doesn't give me 2.75V as an option. I can use 2.7V or 2.8V. Which should I use? I checked ahead of time (before purchasing) that this motherboard is claimed certified by Corsair, so presumably one of these settings should work. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks a lot in advance.

mitcharf
Or my computer may transform itself into a soy milk latte. :) Anyone have a definitive answer?
Garvin
The ram is warranteed up to 2.9volts. Depending on how good your power supply is and the number of components it has to drive, either 2.7volts or 2.8 will prove stable. The higher voltage is usually called for with weaker supplies to over come momentary dips in the voltage supplied to the ram. Good Luck.
