Kilili
I've a pair of 1 GB cards V81GB400C3 4984-0551111-3-5211367 4984-0551111-3-5211368 I purchased at Frys in mid Dec, then submitted rebate form. They worked fine until yesterday. Now my system keeps rebooting itself. Have done the following: Reset BIOS values to default Replaced system drive Replaced operating system [W2K] Removed all other drives Cannot run memory or any other diags, because the system won't stay up long enough. Pulled the two Corsair cards, leaving in a pair of 512K cards, and the system is rock solid again. Sounds like a memory problem to me. Sounds like a memory issue to me. pls advise. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 12, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 12, 2006 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700C2 Cass 2-3-3-6 for example or if you have Value Select "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
