Jabberwok
System's memory is stable eh? Then maybe you should squeeze Windows a little. Try some windows benchmarks like Super-PI & Prime95. Also those famous 3Dmark are quite good. Usually when memory is stable & you still experience stability problems it's another part thats causing problems... So, check first on the Windows side & we'll continue from there...
phuduz
prime35 and super-pi all passed
Garvin
Passing all four tests would pretty reliably rule out cpu or ram as the cause of the freezes. Does it happen only when gaming?
phuduz
yea man only during cs its fine otherwise, maybe its a voltage problem, recommend a certain voltage?
Garvin
A Vdimm of 2.75volts is the suggested voltage, nothing over 2.9volts(voids warantee). Also, if I remember right, seems like I had to install a game patch to get both CS and Half-life2 to run right. Don't remember exactly from where on this site but here's a link to the Counter-Strike site: http://www.counter-strike.net/ Found some here: http://www.planethalflife.com/cs/files/
