BCates
I had 2 sticks of Corsair XMS, each 256MB (CMX256A-3200C2) running on this motherboard, in dual channel mode. I recently purchased 2 more of the exact same model, and installed them on the board also, with both sets of RAM running in dual channel mode. MemTest86, upon first installation, said they were a-ok, and the system ran perfectly. Now, a couple of weeks later, MemTest is giving me plenty of errors. I have tested each stick individually, and 3/4 of them come back 100% error free. The one stick that does have errors, does 100% of the time, no matter which DIMM I put it into. I have made sure all the BIOS settings are correct, from setting the timings and voltages, but this one stick still has errors. I have checked numerous forums to find a solution to this problem but as of yet have not! Can anyone give me any further suggestions? And if it is indeed faulty, what are the steps I need to take to return it for warranty? Thanks in advance!
