hmc
I recently built a new computer to use for myself. I got Corsair 2x 512 mb valueselect RAM. I have been having stop errors on windows when playing games or sometimes even just surfing the web. I took it to a computer shop to the guys that know what they're doing and they told me it was the ram. They told me it wasn't compatible and wasn't really meant for gaming. I am just wondering if I can return this value ram and replace it for the XMS pc 3200 ram and just pay for the differnce, I know it costs more. Wired
Corsair Modules Recommended for the Asus A8V Definitely compatible. Corsair can't upgrade them, nor take your money, because they didn't sell them to you. Try this: CAS Latency (tCL): 2.5 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 3 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 8 Memory Voltage: 2.7 or 2.8 Volts All other settings to defaults. Test one stick at a time in each slot using Memtest86+.
