CyberJocks
Hello, I am writing from the CyberJocks LAN center in New York (http://www.cyberjocks.com). We use Corsair memory in all of our machines, and absolutely love it. Over the past couple of months, we have had a couple of sticks go bad. We are very pleased as only 2 of 186 sticks over three years of time have gone bad (lets see any other brand do that). We have confirmed this by using Memtest86+ in numerous different setups. I have two seperate modules that are bad, one of them is an older CMX256A and another VS512MB400 stick that was out of a pair. How should I proceed? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 6, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 6, 2006 Let's get them both replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part! Or *New* Tech Support Express” and we will be happy to replace them or it! Please note that if you have 2 modules in one system I would suggest you get both from that respective system replaced so the modules match. In other words if you have 2 systems each with one set in each and only one module in each system then you should send the RMA request for 4 modules 2 from each of the two affected systems.
