zhuqin
Hello, i recently set the timings on my CMX512-3200C2 to the recommended 2-3-3-6 with 2.75v and it's been crashing and rebooting a lot. I ran memtest86 and it gave me 20,000 errors on the first pass. I ran the tests repeatedly and it never finished a single pass without any errors. I'm pretty sure it's the RAM. If i set it to SPD, it doesn't seem to error as much. However, on the Corsair's website, the 3200C2 is suppose to be able to run at 2-3-36 with no problem. I was wondering what I should do. BTW i have an ASUS mobo, intel cpu, 420 W PSU if it helps.
Wired
What CPU / FSB / Motherboard do you have? Did you test one stick at a time? Click here to find out how you can add your system specs to your profile and posts!
zhuqin
i've updated my specs. I have a Intel P4 3.2 ghz CPU at 800mhz FSB. I did not overclock the FSB or any other components. I just ran some more tests with individual sticks in single channel mode, it seems like one is giving errors after a few passes and the other one is not able to pass a single pass.
