wolfemane
Ok, I gotta say that I am very happy with this memroy. Now that my new system has been up and running for awhile, I've started the process of OC'en my stuff. I think I've hit a brick wall with this memory, and am not sure whether I need to buy pc4000 for the bandwidth or not. Right now I've got my fx57 at 1.485v 12x250 @3.0ghz, and I have the memroy running pc333 @ 2.9v instead of pc400 @ 2.8v. I'm tryen to push my processor to 3.2ghz, though it seems the closer I get the memory to 210 - 215 I start experiencing some small problems... prime95 errors out in both stress tests that involve the memory after about 4 hours, but is fine on the one test that doens't use memroy at all. my timings are currently at 2.0-2-2-5-1t, but I've played with the timings all the way to 3.0-4-4-8-2t... and have played with voltage between 2.8 and 3.0 (very long process, took about a month). My stress tests have all been about the same. The memroy actually seems less stable at the slower timings. I had my cpu at 11x265 @ 2.915ghz, and memroy ran I think around 206mhz(?) but when i pushed it to 210... errors... hehe I feel pretty safe in saying, at the moment, that the memory voltage is a bit high for my current configuration. Has anyone played around with Overclocking this memroy? What timings have you used or recommend? Or can this stuff just not be pushed past the 210 point? any suggestions would be great! freakysqeeky
anything over 2.9v breaks your warranty agreement! This ram 3200 doesnt oc very well, you should buy 3500 it has more of an oc ability!

freakysqeeky
Sorry didnt see the xls There's to many diff types of ram, didnt even know there was so much to ram, until you get a set and start reading lol i thought i had a good set, and its not bad but if i knew what i know now i would have waited and got a better set of ram (more for my money) dont be stupid like i did and pay for the pretty lights. I'm not a deer and stare at the lights!! And im far from being an expert:!: I'm not even novice lol Why not even numbers and easier to read hardware? would make thing much more easier to learn:): and build!
