McHew
Well, I recently replaced 1 of my 2 sticks, and received the RMA replacement today. It appears that my other original stick was bad too, as it fails when there is 1G of memory in the system. I guess 512k was ok due to which addresses windows needed. Anyway, I ran Memtest on both, and got an error when both were installed. It seems to occur in test 8 (1s and 0s). Windows wont boot up, or crashes. When I ran Memtest on each stick separately, they both passed. I've replaced the motherboard since the first simm went bad, so I'm ruling that out. Is it possible it's a windows problem? When I pull the old stick, everything is fine again. Any ideas? McHew
Wired
are they both the same version? If so, chances are it's a problem with the memory controller in the CPU.
