occtec
Hi, I have a ASUS P5LD2 DELUXE MOBO, currently using K_ingston Value Ram x2 512Mb 533mhz. Although i would like to upgrade to Corsair ram. Firstly am i doing the right thing by upgrading to Corsair? Secondly, my board manual says i can use up to 667Mhz but i really would like to get either the Corsair TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO 1GB (2x XMS2 512MB) Twin2X PRO PC-5400 DDR2 RAM, 2x64Mx64non-ECC, 240-pin DIMMs, Unbuffered, 4-4-4-12, 32Mx8 DRAMs, Activity LEDs, Lifetime warranty OR Corsair TWIN2X1024A-5400UL 1GB (2x XMS2 512MB) Twin2X PC-5400 DDR2 RAM, 2x64Mx64non-ECC, 240-pin DIMMs, Unbuffered, 3-3-2-8, 64Mx8 DRAMs, Heat Spreader, Lifetime warranty But im not to sure if my mobo will support the 5400ul with the lower latency? Can someone please give me some direction and if you think i may be going for the wrong type of ram what would you recommend i was also looking at maybee getting the Corsair TWIN2X512-5400C4 512MB (2x XMS2 256MB) Twin2X PC-5400 DDR2 RAM, 2x32Mx64non-ECC, 240-pin DIMMs, Unbuffered, 4-4-4-12, 32Mx8 DRAMs, Heat Spreader, Lifetime warranty x4 to make up 2gb Dont know what to do am i better of getting 2gb of this ram or 1gb of the 5400 ultra stuff and will the latency be a problem with this mobo? :o: PLS HELP

Wired
You'd have to OC the system and set the timings manually.
