bstark73
Hi, I have the following general setup: EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard ATI 100-435513 Radeon X800XL 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Manchester 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Dual Core For this setup, i purchased the following corsair RAM: CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model VS1GBKIT400 However, looking at the corsair site, i see the only memory like this (ie in a 2x512k kit) is VS1GBKIT400C3. So, since mine does not have the 'C3' suffix, do i have incompatible memory? I am having troubles with random freezes, machine check errors, etc and am wondering if i don't have RAM that is 100% compatible with my motherboard and this is the cause of my problems. If this is the case and i need to replace my RAM, does corsair offer an exchange service via warranty? I have only had this system for less than 3 months. thanks, Brett.
