tomwelling69
Hi I have a Toshiba satellite A40 notebook. It's Win XP with 2.66 GHz and 782 Ram. I have bought a Flash Voyager USB 256 MB flash drive. It's a cmfusb2.0-256. My problem is serious. My notebook does not recognize it. It'll install the utility but WILL NOT install the driver for it to work. In device manager it is listed in "unknown devices" and calls it a "usb embedded hub" I read the manual, and tried to install according to it, but the same thing happens. I have Windows Pack 2 installed. I dont' know what else to do. Does anyone know how I can get hold of a tech to help me? I called Tech Support early this afternoon but NO ONE called me back. Please email me at tomwelling69@hotmail.com Thank you.
Wired
Weekend, they're closed! No drivers are installed because USB support is native to Windows XP. Try it in a different computer, or at the least, in a different USB port, and confirm that something else works fine in the same port.
