TWINX1024-3200XLPT --- one stick went bad

I Bought a set of TWINX1024-3200XLPT about a year ago. It worked fine until about 3 months ago when I began to notice problems: applications randomly crashing, computer auto-rebooting, and getting errors on memory. I reformatted and re-installed my OS. I tried different combinations of memory to slot pairings and no change. After a while longer, the problem got worse. Then one day my computer just decided not to boot up. I pulled one chip out and it still didn't boot - didn't even get to where the BIOS does the memory check and *beep* bit. Switched them and it booted up fine. Haven't had crash issues in a while either. It's definitely this one chip.

What do you have the memory voltage set to? Should be set to +.3 Volts with this MB and then please test the suspect module again.

If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
