dwolf
I'm not sure how to run the test one of my chips works ok. but when i try to use the other the system not even the bios does not boot. I can only use one of the chips. I would like to know how to test it if my system will not even boot? please advise. Sorry if my first question was too vague. Wired
So neither stick by itself will boot the system? What's the specs of the other memory?
dwolf
I have the twin XMS ram each is the 1024mb stick. Stick A seems to e working ok. The computer will boot and run normal as far as I can tell by itself only. If stick B is insterted in the system alone or with Stick A the system will not run at all. When I attemp to boot the computer the fans spin, the drives spin but i have no signal to my monitor and bios will not boot on the monitor, nor the OS. But if stick B is out of the system all is ok. Thought both were bad until you suggested running a memtest and then found that Stick A seems to be ok. David
