Apito
Motherboard: P4M-915P/GD1 Intel Chipset: Pentium 4 3.0Ghz Hi, Currently I am using 512Mb of DDR400 PC3200 RAM but would like to increase this. I searched on Corsair website using the following link and found that I could get DDR2 RAM. But on the FIC website they say that this motherboard will only support DDR 400MHz and the P4M-915PD2 only supports DDR2 http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/configurator_search.html If this were the case then I will buy the faster RAM but I now have conflicting information, do you know which is correct? Will the P4M-915PD1 motherboard support DDR2 PC4200 RAM or has anyone used it already? In particular could I use Corsair VS1GBKIT533D2 or possibly the XM2S stuff at DDR2 PC4200 speeds? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 22, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 22, 2005 P4M-915GD1 and P4M-915PD1 will only support DDR1. So if you have either of these two MB;s you should use VS1GBKit400 or VS2gbkIT400C3.
