skotti
i recently put a new system together. ive reinstalled the sytem 3 times been having random blue screens, usually on reboot, when it dont blue screen, i usually get program crashes. ive ran memtest and ram did error, but not consistently. ive used cas settings 2.5-3-3-8 and this is usually when i get the most errors, if i use 3-3-3-8 a lil more stable but not completly. all this with ram voltage of 2.7 tried 2 different power supplies same results. only thing im pretty sure of it isnt a heat issue..lol. ive been doing this pretty chaotic tryin to get this thing working, never really dealt with an issue like this and hopin for some more guidance. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 21, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 21, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have (Cass 2-3-2-6 with the Rass to Cass set to "3"), and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
