cheechwood
I'm getting random crash problems when ever i try to run 2 gigs of CORSAIR XMS 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel System Memory Model Twinx2048-3200c2pt and a DFI LP UT nF4 SLI-D Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard. It's very strange because some times it will boot and run for about 20 minutes then it struggles and then crashes to the BSOD (blue screen of death) and I really can't get much of a look of what the error is but I did see that it said "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" and at the bottem it says "BEGINING DUMP OF PHYSICAL MEMORY" Can some one please help me because my knowledge of how memory works is very limited... Please help, cheechwood
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 20, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts W/Giga-Byte) and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, XMS2700C2 Cass 2-3-3-6 for example or if you have Value Select "BY SPD" and then test the module/'s one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
