RustyShack
Hi, I recently purchased a Corsair Memory 512MB XMS3200 400MHz CMX512-3200C2PT, to upgrade my current memory from 512mb to 1GB (The original memory is the same specification as the new module). However upon instalation the system would not boot up. I tried all combinations of slots, but nothing changed. When i removed the new module the system worked. I then tried the new module in a second PC, where the system clock was less then 150MHz. It worked. I then reinstalled the module and set the system to 160Mhz where it was stable, unfortunately i cannot get to the 200Mhz that the system was originally operating on. Please Advise.
