Maos
yes. could it also be a problem with my bios? i have a modded nf7 bios flashed, could that be the cause of the slow speed?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 16, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 16, 2005 The security software will slow the system down a bit that is normal.
Maos
The security software will slow the system down a bit that is normal. oh so there's no effect on speed with systems that dont have the flash voyager utility installed?
Maos
wait actually that can't be right. i reformatted the system i had problems on and i still had the speed problem. and i've also flashed to an official motherboard bios.

Maos
still at 17.5mb/s could it be that the nf7's usb2.0 just isnt implemented very well?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 19, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 19, 2005 Are you using the latest drivers for the chipset as well. And that is not bad, maybe just what your system will do. Can you test with another system?
