gjas18
I Have a Asus A8n-Sli Premium (latest Bios) with an Athlon X2 3800+, 480W Neopower Antec PS. This system wouldnt even get through the intial XP setup (even before the restart) without throwing a Stop error or seemingly not finding files on the cd. I downloaded memtest and figured out its one of the ram modules. I tried different slots, dual channel, non dual channel, etc. Same Result with the same memory module. So I removed the offending module and now all is back to normal and working. I'm actually typing this on the system. I've tried upping the voltage in the Bios to no avail. All the latencies are detected correctly. What is there left to do? The ram is the Value select 1GB kit of ddr400
