Machine340
Hi I am having trouble with getting my CMX512-3200C2PT module to work properly on my K8V Deluxe Mobo. I constantly get windows errors while running it in my system. I'v read the forums and did everything needed such as increasing the Voltage to 2.7. And trying it in different slots. I put in a different stick of ram temporarily and everything works great. If it makes a difference, it used to be a twinX kit which I used to be able to run but only at 333mhz, I figured it was because it is a single-channel mobo. I pulled one out to put into a newly built system that i keep at a different location and that one works fine a it's full 400mhz and tight timings. So I think that it's just a bad module. My Bios settings are as follows: memort clk: 200mhz tcl: 3 trcd: 4 tras: 8 trp: 4 trrd: 2 trc: 12 trfc: 14 trwt: 4 read preamble: 5.5ms asunchronous latency: 7ms memlock mode: limit 2:1 (ddr400) bank interleaving: auto TWR: auto ddr clock delay: auto 2t command: disabled Also, it has all the timings greyed out and i'd like to know if i there's a way to change them without an older bios which will not support the processor. Currenly it's:1010.
