samuelkowal906
Hi. I have an ASUS A8N-SLi Deluxe Mobo, and i originally had 2 512mb Corsair Value Select (PC 3200) Modules Running in dual channel. I wanted to have a little more memory, so i purchased a single 1gb stick of the Corsair Value Select pc3200 (i kept the two 512's installed also for 2gb). I noticed a moderate decrease in gaming performance since the memory is no longer in dual channel. My question: if i buy another single stick of the 1gb Value Select, and put all the memory modules in the appropriate slots, will it be able to use dual channel again. Thanks in advance
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 7, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 7, 2005 I am sorry but you cannot mix memory with this platform, if you need 2.0 Gig of memory it would be best to go with 2-1.0 Gig modules.
