rgh12
I have a bad module, it never has been stable on any motherboard it was tried on. I purchased it from Fry's Electronics several months ago and they will not deal with it (it has been more than 30 days, in their parlance). I had a friend test it with a commercial tester they had at work and it only will pass at 266 MHz, not the 400 MHz it is supposed to work at (which is the part that my motherboards didn't like, using the spd setting in the bios). For chuckles and grins, I could add enough wait states on any of the bios settings to get the thing to work for more than 10 minutes at a time (it fails immediately if I turn off all of the cache in the CPU). The motherboard likes the other module I purchased with the motherboard.
