Dalehead
Hello I was recommended to come and post here as I have exhausted all other possibilities. I am finding it impossible to run the memory at the stated 2-3-3-6 speeds, and instead at 'Auto' it is running as 3-3-3-8. I know little about these things, but went for this memory as I was told CAS2 makes a difference to performance. I have tried increasing the voltages to 2.7 and 2.8 but the system just gets stuck in a loop failing to get to Windows after the Raid screen. This isn't overclocking, as I actually just want to run the system at stock speeds, so would appreciate any help or advice. Changing any either the tCL to 2, or the tRas to 5 alone results in the same problem. Many Thanks

idoru
Check out the thread I started here: http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45747 Basically, seems many people with Athlon64 systems are having problems running these 2GB TwinX modules at CAS2 - CAS2.5 (2.5-3-3-6) works OK at 1T, but at CAS2 Windows won't load, even at 2T command rate... I did a *lot* of digging around the Web, and that is the conclusion I came to... even one of the tech support guys at my reseller said he had the same RAM, and he couldn't get it above CAS2.5. NB I could run 1GB TwinX modules (2 x 512MB) at 2-2-2-5/1T no problems at all in my system.
