mtnbikegeek
Computer has been crashing more and more over the last 60 days. Tried memtest as last resort from reading this forum and sure enough I get some failures....errr...the computer memory does. I've slowed the settings to 3-3-3-8 per the specs page (comp default was 2.5-3-3-8). This helped things a bit...so did uping the voltage to 2.7. Didn't want to go any farther without knowing what the limit is. Most errors are gone now except for two addresses (can't remember what they were). Any ideas? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 1, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 1, 2005 Max supported voltage for all of our DDR1 memory would up to 2.9 Volts. But I would suggest setting the memory voltage to 2.7 Volts after you load setup/optimized defaults and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure. mtnbikegeek
I have reset settings and changed voltage as suggested. Tested both sticks individually and found one to still fail memtest.
